SAPA – FANSIPAN – HA GIANG – DONG VAN KARST PLATEAU

06.20: Our sleeping bus will pick you at the address on Tran Quang Khai street and depart to Sapa following Noi Bai – Lao Cai highway. Along the way, you will have a chance to enjoy the beauty of northwestern mountains, terraced fields sparkling in sunlight or dim in thick fog. Have two short-breaks in 30 minutes for each and then continue the trip to Sapa.

13.00-13.30: Arrive in Sapa, eat lunch and check in at the hotel.

14.30: Tour guide picks you from the hotel and takes you to Moana. A check-in area with man-made structures but arranged in harmony with nature to create a unique, strange and beautiful landscape. The check-in area is only 500m from the Stone Church, with the view embracing the Hoang Lien Son range and the majestic Fansipan peak. This place consists of seven categories, attracting young people by many unique miniatures. There are Bali heaven gate, Moana girl statue, infinity lake, golden hand, death swing, lonely tree and coffee area.

18h30: Having dinner. After dinner, you are free to explore the charm of Sapa by night, enjoy roasted corn, baked eggs beside charcoal fire or go shopping. Especially on Saturday night, we highly recommend a stop at the Love Market – one of the unique cultures of ethnic minorities in northwest Vietnam. Overnight at hotel in Sapa.

07.00: Have breakfast in the hotel.

08.00: Car and tour guide take you to Fansipan Cable Car Station to start the journey to conquer Fansipan with the world’s most modern 3-wire cable car system with a cabin that can accommodate up to 30 visitors. Then continue conquering to the top of Fansipan at 3.143m higher from sea-level, the roof of Indochina.

11.30: Back to Sapa, have lunch and rest.

14.30: You will start hiking to Cat Cat Village which is occupied by the Black H’mong tribe. Here, you can see the hydroelectric power station which was built by the French in the twentieth century. You will experience the tribal way of life of ethnic minorities while enjoying wonderful views of the terraced rice paddy fields and the waterfall in Cat Cat village. Visitors will also understand culture, unique customs, traditional crafts such as weaving, touching carved silver, forged agricultural tools…  Come back to the hotel.

18.30: Having dinner. After dinner, you are free to explore the charm of Sapa by night, enjoy roasted corn, baked eggs beside charcoal fire or go shopping. Especially on Saturday night, we highly recommend a stop at the Love Market – one of the unique cultures of ethnic minorities in northwest Vietnam. Overnight at the hotel in Sapa.

06h30: Have breakfast at the hotel. Check out then the local tour guides take you  to the bus (specific route coach) to Ha Giang.

You will have lunch at the bus stop on your own during the Sapa – Ha Giang transferring.

13h30: Arriving in Ha Giang city, you are free to take pictures at Km0 of Ha Giang. Then our car will continue to pick you up from Ha Giang city to continue the journey to conquer Dong Van Karst Plateau..

16h30: Stop at Quan Ba ​​Heaven Gate rest stop to take pictures of Fairy Bosom Twin Mounts view point, also known as Quan Ba ​​Twin Mountains, and the whole view of Tam Son town from above.

17h30: Arrive in Yen Minh, check in and rest.

18h30: Dinner. Free evening. Overnight in Yen Minh.

06.00: Check out from the hotel, have breakfast, and go sightseeing in Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark. During the visit, you will stop at:

• Sung La village, visit Hmong’s Ancient house – the place where the film “Story of Pao” was produced in 2006.
• Lo Lo Chai village to learn about the culture and life of the Lo Lo people at the northernmost point on the map of Vietnam.
• Visit to the King family mansion lying inside a valley of Sa Phin. This is the wealthiest and most powerful family of Dong Van in the early of 20^th
• Visit Lung Cu Flag Pole – the northernmost place in Vietnam.

12.00: Return to Dong Van town for lunch. After lunch, you continue:

• Travel through Mapileng Pass. This is the most beautiful path of the “Happy Way”. Come to Mapileng Canyon (800m depth) – the deepest canyon in Vietnam and indulge in the terrific view there.
• Take pictures with the majestic beauty of the 800m deep Ma Pi Leng Canyon (Tu San Gorge)- the most deeply dissected terrain in Vietnam.
• Boat trip on Nho Que River: Take a boat down the Nho Que River to Tu San Gorge, the deepest canyon in Vietnam located on the Nho Que River. The Nho Que River flows into Vietnam from Xeo Lung village, Lung Cu commune, Dong Van district, passing through Tu San Gorge along the foot of Ma Pi Leng Pass. (not including Nho Que river boat trip + shuttle car: 200k/person).

Note: From August 30, 2024, the travel company will share part of the cost and only collect 120,000 VND for the ticket.

17.00: Arrival in Dong Van town. Have dinner and free at night. You can take your time at Dong Van Ancient Town, a place that has lived nearly one century. And you can enjoy a coffee break at “Café phố Cổ” shop – a very famous coffee shop there (self payment). Overnight in Dong Van town.

In the morning: You wake up to witness the scene of people from many ethnic groups excitedly gathering from all over the streets to Dong Van market to participate in the market session that takes place every Sunday morning.

07h00: Have breakfast and get on the bus back to Hanoi. On the way, visit the Meo King Resident – Vuong Chinh Duc located in the valley of Sa Phin commune, this is the richest and most powerful family in Dong Van district in the early 20th century.

12h00: Have lunch in Ha Giang city. After lunch, continuing on the bus back to Hanoi.

19h00: Arrive at Noi Bai Airport (You can request to return to the airport if needed).

19h30: Arrival in Hanoi. End of tour. See you again!
